Create Your Dreams is a long-term, personalized youth development organization, offering positive programs free of charge to our students. CYD is an important source of educational and emotional support, providing the skills, opportunities and resources that will help our students beat the many challenges of poverty. All of our programs are designed to meet the individual needs of our students, help them explore their interests, build their self-awareness and self-esteem, and develop their leadership ability. Our students describe their experience at Create Your Dreams as “learning and having fun at the same time.”

CYD AfterSchool: Our structured curriculum builds a variety of skills, values creativity and covers many topics of interest to our students.

Extra Hours: Fun trips to educational, cultural, and entertainment venues in Atlanta and beyond, special clubs where our students can focus on a specific interest, and summer programming. T

Tutoring: One-on-one academic support for students who need extra help reaching their potential in school.

College Prep: Personalized preparation and guidance for our students so they can be successful in attaining a higher education and building a stable career, beginning in 9th grade. Includes our College Needs Fund that supports our students with educational expenses.

Transitions Program: A series of workshops and activities designed to prepare our students for success at each stage of their life, focusing on their transitions from middle to high school, high school to a higher education, and from a degree/certificate to a successful career.
